When formatting your account lists for either Suppression or Enrichment, use this guide for formatting to ensure that the domains are accepted by the Enlyft system.
File Formatting Criteria
• Enlyft matches accounts based on domain name (website). The first column (Column A) of your file must contain the domain name of your accounts.
• Enlyft disregards the first row of your file as the header.
• File format needs to be CSV, XLS or XLSX.

Tips & Tricks for Formatting
Let's use the below example that needs to be reformatted to match Enlyft format criteria:
To quickly reformat this file to only show top level domains, follow these steps
In Excel, go to Edit > Find and Replace >
Find common appends and replace with "blank"
For example, replace the following with blanks:
• https://
• http://
• www.
Next, remove any additional data that comes after the primary domain.
Highlight Column A, where your data currently is.
Go to Data > Text to Columns and select "Delimited."
As your delimiter, select "Other" and in box "/"
If you are converting emails to domains, as your delimiter, select "Other" and in box "@"
Select Finish.
Once this is complete, delete the data in your other columns and save.
You now have a correctly formatted file to upload to Enrich or Suppress!
Troubleshooting File Problems
The most common error when uploading a file is due to multiple file tabs (hidden tabs or visible tabs). To prevent this error, save the file as a CSV file. If you are still running into any errors, send your file to [email protected]
